StoreLocal Hackham owner, Mike, gave us the handball assist for our local partnership with Panthers. Entering our second year as Local Partners, we are proud to be involved with a club that offers footy opportunities at all levels (including SANFL) for 600 senior and junior players each season.

The Panthers have strong ties to talent-rich Kangaroo Island, south-west of the Adelaide coastline, providing development and pathway opportunities for their junior players and is also a prolific feeder of talent into the AFL National Draft.

What has really impressed us is the growth in female footy participation and culture at the club. The women’s first grade team won back-to-back premierships in 2018 and 2019 and the foundations have now been set for a successful legacy, with senior women’s players now moving from interstate to link up with the Panthers.
