QUEENSLAND PREMIER RUGBY 2024
We are proud to continue our naming rights sponsorship of the Hospital Cup, the top tiercompetition of Queensland Premier Rugby (QPR). The StoreLocal Hospital Cup provides a strong underpinning pathway from local community junior club rugby to Super Rugby Pacific,and last season featured 70 professional Super Rugby players at various stages.
Beginning its tenure on the mantle of the first-grade premiers in 1928, the Hospital Cup grand final returned to the recently redeveloped facilities at Ballymore stadium in August 2023. In an epic display of skill and strength between Brothers Rugby and Wests Bulldogs, it was Brothers who hoisted the StoreLocal Hospital Cup high after fighting back from a 19-point deficit to claim their 29th premiership in the competition, 26-24.
In an exciting first for StoreLocal, we are equally proud to be the naming rights sponsor for StoreLocal Women’s Premier Rugby – the top Women’s XVs fixture in our great State.
